At Thyme Out, freshness comes first. Our passion for food can be found in every single bite. If you’re looking for impeccably fresh, healthy, time-saving and delicious dinners, you’ve come to the right place! We hand trim our meat, poultry, fish, herbs and vegetables daily. We make our own sauces, and always provide a whole grain alternative to our starches.
Thyme Out was opened in May 2006 by Missy Carr, a trained chef and MontgomeryCounty mother of three young children. Missy decided she wanted to use her experience as a caterer and cooking instructor into something very much needed by busy moms and busy people in general: a place to get the kinds of fresh, healthy meals they would make, if they had the time! Every month, Missy creates flavorful, diverse menu options that incorporate the freshest, highest-quality produce, prime cuts of meat and made-from-scratch marinades and sauces to deliver consistently great meals for Thyme Out customers. With the opening of Thyme Out’s two new locations in Rockville and Gaithersburg dinner has never been easier. Thyme Out now offers extensive options for fresh, easy-to-prepare meals in more convenient, spacious locations. From gourmet dinners to classic kid-friendly fare, Thyme Out also offers a wide range of flavorful, delicious side dishes and specialty breads and desserts. Our mission is to give each customer a delicious, pleasurable and convenient dining experience. You can enjoy Thyme Out meals in one of four easy ways:
- In-store session Thyme Out provides the recipes, ingredients, packaging and cooking instructions to different meals – only a 4 meal minimum with lots of choices!
- Thyme To Go– Customers can pick-up personally customized pre-assembled meals – no assembly fee required. Perfect for busy moms: Keep the kids in the car, because Thyme Out even provides curb service!
- Raid Our Fridge– Customers can come in to Thyme Out to pick up easy “grab & go” meals in our retail fridge and freezer. Look for our chef’s specials!
- Delivery – Save time. Save Gas. Have Thyme Out meals delivered to your door for only $10!
